Overview

TypoTheGame (“the App”) is a macOS typing game developed by Wayne Cater. This policy describes how the App handles your data.

Data Collection

TypoTheGame does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All data stays on your device.

The App stores the following data locally on your Mac using SwiftData:

• Leaderboard entries — Player names and scores you choose to save
• Word list — Custom words you add or modify for gameplay

This data is stored only on your device and is never sent to any server or third party.

Network Access

TypoTheGame does not connect to the internet. It requires no network access to function.

Analytics & Tracking

The App does not use any analytics frameworks, crash reporting tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party services.

Children’s Privacy

Because no data is collected or transmitted, the App is suitable for users of all ages.

Data Deletion

You can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling TypoTheGame from your Mac. While installed, you can clear word list data from within the App.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date.
