Privacy Policy for MemoryMark

Last updated: May 7, 2026

Overview

MemoryMark is a simple, fully offline app that overlays scripture text onto images for use as device wallpaper. We have no servers, no accounts, and no connection to the internet. This policy explains the limited ways the app interacts with your device.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data.

MemoryMark does not transmit any information off your device — ever. There are no analytics
libraries, no crash reporters, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party services of any kind embedded in the app.

How the App Uses Your Device

Photo Library

MemoryMark requests access to your photo library for two purposes:

  1. Reading — to let you select a photo as a background image. The image is processed locally on your device and never leaves it.
  2. Writing — to save the finished watermarked image to your Camera Roll. The app requests add-only
permission; it cannot read, modify, or delete your existing photos.

Photos are used solely to perform the task you request. They are not stored by the app beyond the
current session.

Local Storage

The scripture text you enter is saved to a plain text file (ScripFile.txt) inside the app’s private Documents folder on your device. This file is:

You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the app.

Data Sharing

We share no data with anyone. There are no third parties involved in the operation of this app.

Children’s Privacy

MemoryMark does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted with an updated date. Because the app collects no data, material changes are unlikely.
